Coding & Robotics for Kids in Grades Rβ12
RoboSZN is a coding and robotics club for kids in Grades R to 12 designed to develop future-ready skills through hands-on projects, competitions, and real-world challenges. With a unique gamified and season-based learning journeyβSeedSZN to MakerSZNβwe teach coding, robotics, and an emphasis on AI in a fun, progressive, and accessible way.
To empower the next generation of innovators in Secunda and ultimately South Africa with coding, robotics, and AI skills.
RoboSZN was created to fill a critical gap in communities like Secunda, where learners have passion, potential, and creativity, but limited access to future-focused tech education. We started with a simple idea: give kids the tools to code, build, and solve real problems while having fun and leveling up.
Grade R
R500/month
Tools Used: ScratchJr, Code.org, LEGO SPIKE Essential, TinkerCAD.
Outcomes: Interactive games, basic robotics, progress badges, parent reports.
No prior experience needed. We will guide you from scratch.
π± Grade R β First Steps into Coding & Robotics
Every activity is hands-on, age-appropriate, and designed to grow problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills while keeping learning exciting.
Our Grade R learners begin their journey with fun, playful projects that spark curiosity and confidence. Using LEGO SPIKE Essential, art, and simple coding apps, they build robotic pets, create glowing light shows, design in 3D, and tell stories with code.
Grade 1β7
R750/month
Tools Used: Python, App Inventor, HTML/CSS/JS, Scratch, ScratchJr, TinkerCAD, Code.org, LEGO SPIKE kits, LEGO SPIKE simulation.
Outcomes: Robotic projects, personal websites, working logic-based projects, portfolio building, robot simulation, IoT projects, digital certificates.
No prior experience needed. We will guide you from scratch.
Perfect for curious builders, this track blends the creative coding of Code Explorers with hands-on robotics using LEGO SPIKE Essentials and LEGO SPIKE Essential.
Students learn how to design, build, and code their own robots that respond to movement, light, and touch. Each session is packed with problem-solving, team challenges, and innovation. Whether drawing with robots or building a robot pet, learners engage deeply while mastering STEM and programming skills.
Includes fun competitions, a digital badge tracker, and a parent showcase.
Grade 8β12
R650/month
Tools Used: LEGO SPIKE kits, Scratch, TinkerCAD Circuits, TinkerCAD 3D Design, sensors, SPIKE Prime simulation.
Outcomes: Fully built robots, reaction-based machines, mini competitions, parent expo, badge tracker.
No prior experience needed. We will guide you from scratch.
This tier empowers young learners to go beyond drag-and-drop coding and start building real software.
Students learn Python, web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and mobile app creation using tools like Replit and App Inventor.
The course is scaffolded to support beginners while also challenging advanced students with real-world projects. Each learner walks away with their own portfolio, ready to share with schools, competitions, or future opportunities.
Grade 8β12
R950/month
Tools Used: Arduino kits, LEGO SPIKE Prime, Python (Replit), App Inventor, HTML/CSS/JS, TinkerCAD.
Outcomes: Web apps, smart robotics, IoT projects, live demo day, project documentation, digital portfolio.
No prior experience needed. We will guide you from scratch.
Our most advanced offering is built for tomorrowβs engineers, coders, and tech entrepreneurs.
Young learners dive into full-stack development, robotics, IoT, and app design, all in one program. They learn Python, build smart devices using Arduino or LEGO SPIKE Prime, and simulate real-world systems through coding.
Ideal for ambitious high school students who want to push boundaries, solve real problems, and create something meaningful. Every student completes a capstone project and presents it at a live demo event, developing both technical and communication skills.
